At Maggie's, no one should feel invisible. We believe support should be practical, personal and given without judgement. Every parcel, meal, visit and donation is an opportunity to remind someone that their community has not forgotten them.
Meet Maggie
Maggie’s South Coast Foundation started around her kitchen table. She was seeing more and more families in the community struggling just to get by.
Parents trying to put food on the table. Pensioners stretching what little they had. People who had lost their jobs and suddenly didn’t know how they were going to get through the month.
She couldn’t just look the other way - so she started helping wherever she could. Cooking meals, putting together food parcels, delivering what was needed and, sometimes, simply sitting down and listening to what they had to say.
Along the way, she realised that people don’t only need food or basic necessities - they need to know that someone sees them, that someone cares, and that asking for help doesn’t take away their dignity.
This is her community, and these are people who deserve to know they don’t have to face difficult times alone. Maggie’s started with one person wanting to help.

Pensioners relying on SASSA who are struggling to meet basic household and food needs
Single mothers and fathers who are carrying the financial responsibility of raising their families alone
Families facing sudden hardship after the household's main breadwinner has lost their job
Partner with purpose
Maggie's South Coast Foundation welcomes partnerships with businesses, community organisations and individuals who want to make a direct local difference. Contributions can support food parcels, hot meals, children's initiatives, essential household items and other community relief efforts.
